Anker SOLIX C1000: what it runs in an outage
The SOLIX C1000 balances the 1kWh-class trade-offs well — strong output, fast charging, decent solar and an expansion path — but two different products share its name.
Good fit if you…
- want a 1kWh station that recharges fast from the wall or solar (600W)
- want the option to double the battery later (2,112Wh with the BP1000)
- want a quick UPS switchover (under 20 ms) for a router or modem
Look elsewhere if you…
- are buying the C1000 Gen 2 — this page’s numbers don’t apply to it
- need the expansion battery right away (Anker listed the BP1000 as “coming soon” when we checked)
Estimated runtimes
These come from the same calculation as the planner: our representative appliance figures, efficiency estimated from the load, and a 10% battery reserve. The range runs from our cautious to our optimistic estimate; verdicts use the expected value in between. Your appliances will differ — try your own.
| Load | Runtime | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Wi-Fi, lights and phones, 8 hours | about 11–14 h | Covers it |
| Fridge alone, 12 hours | about 10–13 h | Only just |
| Fridge, Wi-Fi and lights, 12 hours | about 6.3–7.6 h | Runs out early |
| CPAP with heated humidifier, one night (8 hours) | about 13–19 h | Covers it (estimate — test first) |
| Work-from-home day: Wi-Fi, lights, phone, laptop (8 hours) | about 7.1–8.6 h | Runs out early |
| CPAP plus fridge, overnight (8 hours) | about 6.9–8.3 h | Runs out early |
What the numbers mean for you
Gen 1 or Gen 2? This page covers the original SOLIX C1000: 1,056Wh, 1,800W continuous, 2,400W surge, expandable. The C1000 Gen 2 is a different product (1,024Wh, 2,000W, not expandable). If a listing quotes 2,000W for a 1,056Wh unit, it has mixed the two up.
On our estimate the C1000 runs a typical fridge for about 12 hours and Wi-Fi, lights and phones for about 12–13 hours. With the BP1000 fitted it would cover a fridge with Wi-Fi and lights through a 12-hour outage on our numbers — but until Anker sells the BP1000, the planner treats the C1000 as not expandable.
SurgePad is Anker’s name for this model’s 2,400W surge capability — not an extra rating on top of it.
Limitations and things to check

- The BP1000 expansion battery was listed as “coming soon” on Anker’s page on Oct 12, 2026 — confirm availability before counting on expansion.
- Surge duration isn’t published.
