BLUETTI EB3A: what it runs in an outage
BLUETTI has discontinued the EB3A. We keep this page for owners and people looking at used units: it’s a capable small battery, but too small for most outage plans.
Discontinued. Marked “Discontinued” and sold out at BLUETTI US when checked 2026-10-12. Kept for owners and used buyers; not included in planner shortlists.
Good fit if you…
- already own one and want to know what it can cover
- need a few hours of router, lights and phone charging
- want a CPAP without humidifier through a night (test it first — see our CPAP guide)
Look elsewhere if you…
- are buying for a power outage today — it’s discontinued and only 268Wh
- want to run a fridge for more than about 3 hours
- want a long warranty (2 years, vs 5 for most stations here)
Estimated runtimes
These come from the same calculation as the planner: our representative appliance figures, efficiency estimated from the load, and a 10% battery reserve. The range runs from our cautious to our optimistic estimate; verdicts use the expected value in between. Your appliances will differ — try your own.
| Load | Runtime | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Wi-Fi, lights and phones, 8 hours | about 2.7–3.5 h | Runs out early |
| Fridge alone, 12 hours | about 2.6–3.4 h | Runs out early |
| Fridge, Wi-Fi and lights, 12 hours | about 1.6–1.9 h | Runs out early |
| CPAP with heated humidifier, one night (8 hours) | about 3.4–4.9 h | Runs out early |
| Work-from-home day: Wi-Fi, lights, phone, laptop (8 hours) | about 1.8–2.2 h | Runs out early |
| CPAP plus fridge, overnight (8 hours) | about 1.7–2.1 h | Runs out early |
What the numbers mean for you
The EB3A’s limit is energy, not power. Its 600W output and 1,200W surge handle a fridge’s start-up, but 268Wh runs a typical fridge for only about 3 hours on our estimate, and Wi-Fi, lights and phones for about 3 hours too.
Where it can work is a CPAP without the heated humidifier: about 10W of load. At loads that small, the station’s own inverter draw matters more than the CPAP’s — powering the CPAP from a DC output with the CPAP maker’s DC adapter helps a lot. Test a full night before relying on it.
